What you will do

• Act as the primary point of contact for financial regulators and supervisory authorities.
• Lead regulatory inspections, inquiries, audits, and manage remediation programs.
• Draft and maintain regulatory submissions, including Client Money Policies, fund flow reports, and risk assessments.
• Develop compliance frameworks and conduct assessments of payment service providers (PSPs) and financial partners.
• Lead the expansion of payment licenses into new jurisdictions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Risk, Operations, Product, and Business teams to embed regulatory requirements into processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in Regulatory Compliance or Regulatory Affairs within regulated financial institutions.
• Demonstrated experience engaging with regulators and PSP/EMI/MSB licensing frameworks.
• Proven experience managing regulatory inspections, examinations, audits, and remediation programs.
• Ability to serve as the company's primary representative in interactions with regulators.
• Strong analytical, policy drafting, and risk assessment capabilities.

Nice to have

• Crypto compliance expertise.
• Experience within cryptocurrency, digital asset, or virtual asset service provider (VASP) environments.
• Experience in Middle East or Southeast Asian regulatory environments.
