What you will do

• Lead the development of dbt projects to create a reliable and modular "Source of Truth".
• Build performant data models in BigQuery using software engineering practices like Git, CI/CD, and unit testing.
• Collaborate with business leads to identify and automate manual processes to streamline operational workflows.
• Leverage AI tools and LLMs to accelerate development cycles and enhance data quality.
• Translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions and act as a consultant to stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or Technical Data Analyst in a high-growth environment.
• Deep practical expertise with dbt and cloud warehouses, specifically BigQuery.
• Expert-level SQL skills for writing complex and performant queries.
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and handling APIs.
• Experience using AI-first development tools such as Cursor or GitHub Copilot.
• Exceptional communication skills to explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with workflow automation tools like n8n or Zapier.
• Proficiency with BI or semantic platforms such as Looker or Thoughtspot.
• Industry experience in Payments, FinTech, Banking, or Cryptocurrency.
• Familiarity with Reverse ETL for moving data back into SaaS tools.
