What you will do
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Product teams to identify key metrics and solve business decisions.
- Own end-to-end analysis, from clarifying requirements to delivering actionable insights.
- Document metric definitions, caveats, and domain knowledge to ensure scalability.
- Build and maintain trusted analytics assets including dbt models, LookML explores, and dashboards.
- Contribute to and harden AI agent tooling by providing semantic context and verifying outputs.
- Translate complex data realities into clear, non-technical language for stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in an analytics role (Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or similar).
- Proven experience as a direct analytics partner to business teams like Marketing, Sales, or Finance.
- Strong SQL proficiency and experience working directly in a data warehouse.
- Experience owning datasets and dashboards used by non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in version-controlled environments using git, branches, and pull requests.
- Ability to explain and verify AI agent outputs with appropriate skepticism.
Nice to have
- Experience with Python, dbt, Looker/LookML, Snowflake, or ClickHouse.
- Domain experience in subscription models or fintech.
- Experience handling high-volume data.
