Principal Cloud Security Engineer

Location: London-based, full-time hybrid. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.

What you will do

• Design and deliver secure, resilient, and scalable architectures across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Advise clients on enterprise cloud transformation, migration, and modernisation from strategy through implementation.
• Help establish and mature DevSecOps practices across CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud-native engineering.
• Drive cloud security governance, architecture assurance, remediation, and security control optimisation.
• Conduct architecture reviews, threat modelling, risk assessments, and cloud security maturity assessments.
• Support the growth of the Cloud Security practice, lead teams, and engage senior client stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in cloud security or related disciplines.
• Proven experience delivering complex cloud security programmes in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms, identity and access management, network security, data protection, and security operations.
• Current experience designing and implementing secure cloud architectures across AWS and Microsoft 365.
• Deep understanding of modern security frameworks and Zero Trust principles.
• Right to work in the UK required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and client-facing consulting skills.
• Experience leading teams in complex delivery environments.
• CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer, or equivalent certification.
