What you will do

• Drive the strategic evolution of the design system, including component libraries, documentation, and AI-enabled design workflows.
• Partner with product and engineering leaders to shape product strategy and solve complex, ambiguous B2B business problems.
• Define and maintain high standards of product quality to ensure intuitive, polished, and scalable user experiences.
• Mentor other designers and contribute to team growth through coaching, reviews, and process improvements.
• Lead the design of complex systems involving information architecture, shared components, and cross-product experiences.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to validate design direction and inform product decisions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience designing complex B2B SaaS products or sophisticated digital experiences.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Proven ownership of a design system, including experience with token-based systems, Figma, and Storybook.
• Demonstrated ability to operate across multiple product teams and solve organization-wide design challenges.
• Strong track record of delivering high-quality, user-centered experiences in ambiguous environments.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to influence product and engineering leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience in accounting, financial services, or other complex B2B industries.
