DeltaV Automation Engineer (Biotech)

Location: Visp, Switzerland. Onsite role with relocation assistance available for eligible candidates and their families.

What you will do

• Plan and deliver electrical MSR readiness activities, including maintenance, changeovers, and improvements within budget and timelines.
• Ensure reliable operation and performance of highly automated biologics facilities using DeltaV and MES systems.
• Manage GMP-compliant testing, documentation, and change-management activities using Kneat and Ubik.
• Prepare and update plant documentation in SAP and COMOS to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Identify and implement improvements to equipment and maintenance processes to increase efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine procedures and optimize workflows.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering, systems engineering, or a related field; vocational education such as EFZ, FH, HF, or BSc is also considered.
• Experience operating and maintaining pharmaceutical plants or working in the biotech industry.
• Experience with SAP, COMOS, DeltaV process control, and MES Syncade is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in English and/or German is required for communication in a diverse working environment.
• Familiarity with GMP standards and protocols in regulated manufacturing.
• Self-reliant, trustworthy, and effective approach to completing tasks and projects.
