What you will do

• Architect the Capability Spec framework for auto-generating OpenAPI schemas, Skill manifests, and MCP tools.
• Consolidate fragmented API surfaces into a Unified Fintech API that is composable and agent-ready.
• Implement CI/CD enforcement, including PR gates and drift detection, to keep specs, code, and documentation in sync.
• Develop tooling to auto-generate Functional and Integration Skills, MCP tools, and client SDKs.
• Set technical direction across the Fintech API and Agent-Ready Enabler teams, mentoring engineers and influencing the roadmap.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in API design and distributed systems at scale.
• Demonstrated Staff-level technical leadership in driving cross-team architecture decisions.
• Strong background in OpenAPI/REST design, schema-driven codegen, and API lifecycle tooling.
• Hands-on experience with AI agent tooling, such as MCP (Model Context Protocol), LLM tool calling, or agentic platforms (Claude, ChatGPT Actions).
• Experience building CI/CD systems and platform tooling that enforces contracts at scale.
• Must be based in Mountain View, California.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with fintech domains including payments, lending, payroll, or wallets.
