What you will do

• Own cloud infrastructure and AI/compute cost models, using BigQuery to translate raw billing data into actionable leadership readouts.
• Build scenario models in Pigment and Claude-powered engines to provide live views of headcount capacity and hiring ramps.
• Automate board-deck and executive materials to shift focus from assembly to high-value analysis.
• Partner with the Head of AI to optimize infrastructure spend and identify build-vs-buy opportunities to protect margins.
• Act as the dedicated finance point of contact for the R&D organization, collaborating with the CTO and engineering leaders.

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, or finance at a high-growth technology company.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Hands-on fluency using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) to accelerate financial modeling and analysis.
• Expert-level Excel and Google Sheets modeling skills.
• Experience building scalable reporting engines (e.g., in Pigment).
• Proven track record supporting technical organizations (Engineering, Product, Data Science, or Infrastructure).
