Senior/Principal Product Manager (IaC Cloud)

Location: Seattle, Washington, or remote; remote-first collaboration across a globally distributed organization.

Salary: $166,000–$209,000 for Senior level; $180,500–$227,850 for Principal level.

What you will do

• Own the roadmap for hirify.global Cloud platform services and balance architectural investments with customer needs.
• Define agent-ready control-plane experiences for secure configuration access, credential handling, scoped permissions, and auditability.
• Drive roadmaps for hirify.global ESC, managed state, Registry and Components, authorization, RBAC, auditing, and related APIs.
• Shape the cloud console, OpenAPI surface, service provider, webhooks, notifications, and version-control integrations.
• Balance enterprise governance requirements with individual developer usability and adoption.
• Define product metrics and lead delivery from discovery through general availability and adoption across Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Support, and the open-source community.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in product management, engineering, or technical program management, including platform, API, or infrastructure products.
• Strong understanding of API and platform design, including resource modeling, versioning, backward compatibility, and error semantics.
• Experience or strong interest in secrets management, permissions, tenancy, identity, and audit.
• Technical depth to discuss architectural tradeoffs, consistency guarantees, failure modes, and migration paths with senior engineers.
• Demonstrated ability to ship high-quality products in ambiguous, technically complex environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for asynchronous, cross-functional work.

Nice to have

• Experience with IAM, identity providers, policy engines, or security infrastructure.
• Experience building products consumed by agents or automated systems, including MCP servers or machine-facing APIs.
• Familiarity with Terraform, CloudFormation, Crossplane, CDK, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering.
• Experience contributing to open-source projects and communities.
