What you will do

• Execute shaping processes on simple to medium-difficulty optical parts using beveling, milling, and sawing.
• Perform blocking and edging tasks to maintain tolerances up to .001.
• Conduct continuous and double-sided grinding operations.
• Inspect and clean parts using precision tools including calipers, micrometers, and Z-scopes.
• Read and interpret work instructions and prints for basic dimensions.
• Apply basic mathematics to calculate production requirements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to work effectively and contribute to a team.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Boulder, Colorado.
• No previous experience required.
