What you will do

• Own and continuously improve manufacturing cleaning processes and equipment cleaning strategies.
• Develop compliant cleaning concepts and standardize processes across manufacturing assets.
• Lead CIP/COP improvement initiatives to strengthen process robustness and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate cleaning method development with Manufacturing, QC, R&D, QA, and other stakeholders.
• Lead cleaning-related risk assessments and support process transfers, campaigns, investigations, deviations, and continuous improvement.
• Act as the technical expert for equipment cleaning during customer interactions, audits, and inspections while implementing innovative technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements

• BSc, MSc, or PhD in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing and GMP operations.
• At least 3 years of experience with equipment cleaning processes, CIP/COP systems, process improvement, and manufacturing support.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical initiatives and solve complex manufacturing challenges.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English required; the role is site-based in Visp, Switzerland.
