What you will do

• Define and maintain global analytical quality standards and testing strategies for active ingredients and formulations.
• Lead the design, setup, and operationalization of the new analytical laboratory in Schaffhausen.
• Provide global oversight for analytical quality in toll manufacturing and ensure consistent control application.
• Manage the analytical method lifecycle, including development, validation, transfer, and performance monitoring.
• Serve as the global escalation point for complex analytical quality issues and investigations.
• Develop and coach analytical quality teams to foster a culture of scientific expertise and quality excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry or related scientific discipline (Master’s or PhD preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in analytical chemistry, quality control, or quality assurance within a regulated environment.
• Strong technical expertise in HPLC, GC, LC-MS, GC-MS, IR spectroscopy, and titration.
• Proven leadership in laboratory safety and establishing safe working practices.
• Experience in analytical technology transfer and collaboration with external manufacturing partners.
• Ability to influence and drive results within a global, cross-functional matrix organization.
