What you will do

• Translate executive strategy questions into structured analytical problems, hypotheses, and measurable success metrics.
• Build, validate, and maintain statistical and ML models for churn, upsell propensity, and pipeline health.
• Create scenario planning, sensitivity, and what-if analysis frameworks to evaluate revenue, margin, and risk trade-offs.
• Design and operationalize KPI definitions and data quality checks to establish a single source of truth for executive reporting.
• Utilize AI and GenAI tools (AI-assisted coding, RAG-based search) to accelerate analysis and build decision-support prototypes.
• Design and analyze experiments (A/B tests, pilots) to quantify the impact of strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in data science or advanced analytics within B2B technology or SaaS environments.
• Expertise in statistical modeling and machine learning (time series forecasting, regression, classification, clustering).
• Strong hands-on skills in Python or R and proficiency with SQL for querying complex datasets.
• Experience with modern analytics/ML platforms such as Databricks.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, etc.); advanced degree preferred.
• Must be based in Burnaby, Canada to support the hybrid work model.
