What you will do

• Design scalable production frameworks for autonomy evaluation to ensure comprehensive Operational Design Domain (ODD) coverage.
• Implement methodologies to systematically measure and monitor the performance, fidelity, and reliability of evaluation infrastructure.
• Prototype complex deep-dive analyses and build production-quality evaluation code and dashboards for leadership.
• Collaborate with Safety and Autonomy teams to ensure automated reporting captures technical intent and system requirements.
• Develop advanced analytical models to correlate closed-loop simulation performance with real-world driving outcomes.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, elevating the team's analytical bar through code reviews and methodological guidance.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US or Canada.
• 6+ years of professional experience in applied data science, advanced analytics, or machine learning.
• MS/PhD in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or Robotics.
• Strong command of Python and SQL for data analysis and prototyping.
• Expertise in statistical methods, including hypothesis testing, A/B testing on complex systems, and sampling methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience in the Autonomous Vehicle or Robotics industry.
• Familiarity with Systems Verification and Validation.
• Experience with large scale databases and analytics.
• Experience with workflow automation or orchestration frameworks.
