Manager, City Operations (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: On-site in Miami, FL

Salary: $156,000 - $172,000 per year

Zoox is developing the first ground-up, fully autonomous robotaxi fleet and the supporting ecosystem to provide the next generation of mobility-as-a-service in urban environments.

What you will do

• Lead and manage teams of full-time and contingent personnel responsible for the test and robotaxi fleets.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize fleet performance and eliminate waste.
• Oversee daily fleet operations, including vehicle deployments and maintenance tracking.
• Partner with product stakeholders to create a high-quality rider experience for customers and partners.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for service reliability, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technology updates and build relationships with local regulatory bodies.

Requirements

• Ability to work on-site at Miami, FL facilities.
• Bachelor's degree.
• 8+ years of experience leading the business side of large-scale operations.
• 3+ years of experience managing large teams of FTEs and contingent labor.
• Expertise in managing continuous safety standards and change management processes.
• Ability to travel when necessary.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or Program Management.
• Experience in the autonomous vehicle, transportation dispatch, or emergency response industries.
• 5+ years of experience in an NPI environment collaborating with PMO or engineering.
• PMP certification or equivalent.
