Business Process Analyst (S/4HANA)

Location: Portsmouth, NH, United States; Houston, TX is also considered. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families. Travel of 2–3 weeks may be required for domestic and international projects.

What you will do

• Support implementation and optimization of S/4HANA Analyze to Decide processes, including product costing, variance analysis, management accounting, and reporting.
• Provide A2D expertise for global template design and standardized reporting.
• Gather stakeholder requirements, build dashboards, resolve local concerns, and prioritize business-critical work.
• Design process solutions, identify automation opportunities, and validate prototypes with site teams.
• Configure finance modules, integrate SAP areas such as FI/CO and MM, and standardize workflows.
• Coordinate data migration, testing, documentation, deployment, and post-launch hypercare.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance.
• 5–10 years of experience in product costing, variance analysis, project accounting, management accounting, or FP&A.
• Proven experience with S/4HANA projects and finance workstream processes, preferably Controlling.
• Hands-on site controlling and SAP end-user experience.
• Ability to lead process improvement and work effectively in a dynamic project environment with aggressive deadlines.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for 2–3 weeks depending on project needs.

Nice to have

• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Kneat, or Signavio.
• Familiarity with relevant industry best-practice processes or willingness to learn them.
