Business Analyst 2 (SQL/Tableau)

Location: Gateway Center, Columbus, Ohio; office workplace type. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States. Immigration sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, monitor, and enhance operational, analytical, regulatory, executive, and risk reporting.
• Use SQL, database query tools, reporting platforms, and Tableau to extract, validate, reconcile, and interpret data from multiple sources.
• Build dashboards, scorecards, automated reporting solutions, trend analyses, portfolio reviews, and management reporting packages.
• Partner with business stakeholders, management, technology teams, and vendors to gather requirements and translate business needs into analytical solutions.
• Investigate complex data, reporting, and system issues, perform root cause analysis, and support testing, system implementations, conversions, and post-implementation activities.
• Identify automation, process improvement, control, data quality, and reporting efficiency opportunities while supporting projects and training initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field, or a high school diploma with 9 years of related experience and/or education.
• At least 5 years of experience in reporting, business analysis, data analytics, systems support, or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting business processes, reporting, analytics, systems, or operational functions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to gather requirements, deliver business solutions, manage multiple priorities, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Current full-time authorization to work in the United States is required; immigration sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Office Suite.
• Experience with SQL, database querying, data analysis, Tableau, dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and executive reporting.
• Knowledge of collections, recovery, bankruptcy, repossession, loss mitigation, default operations, credit administration, or related financial services functions.
• Experience with system implementations, reporting conversions, testing, data validation, process improvement, and automation.
