What you will do

• Architect, develop, test, and maintain secure microservices, data models, aggregations, alerting, and analytics capabilities.
• Design and orchestrate near-real-time and post-aggregation data flows across relational, NoSQL, graph, and big-data stores.
• Optimize data processing, SQL queries, queue-based workflows, and map/reduce strategies.
• Implement Azure infrastructure using Terraform and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and related tools.
• Monitor system health through diagnostics, observability, logging, telemetry, and performance-tuning tools.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and DevOps teams while contributing to reviews, mentoring, and technical roadmaps.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience and a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Strong Python experience, with additional experience in Go or C# and REST APIs.
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS, microservices, Kubernetes, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases, including Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Expertise in Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, data modeling, query optimization, and transactional consistency.
• Experience integrating AI/ML systems using the Model Context Protocol or similar AI frameworks, plus knowledge of cloud security, identity management, and privileged access control.

Nice to have

• Experience with database performance tuning, replication, and high availability.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures, service meshes, and API gateways.
• Knowledge of Datadog, Grafana, Zero Trust architectures, and secure software lifecycle practices.
• Experience in AI-enhanced security, automated policy enforcement, data compliance, Agile development, and continuous delivery.
