What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain commercial software applications, backend services, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.
• Build real-time and time-series data processing capabilities with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL and TimescaleDB schemas, queries, indexes, and data models.
• Develop unit, integration, end-to-end, API, and continuous integration tests.
• Monitor production systems, troubleshoot defects, optimize cloud resources, and perform refactoring and upgrades.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, DevOps, QA, and other stakeholders in Agile development cycles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of software development experience using modern engineering practices.
• Professional experience with Go, Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design, design patterns, Git, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs, developing with SQL, and optimizing PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, AI-assisted coding tools, analytical problem-solving, and technical communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with TimescaleDB or other time-series databases.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
