Salary: $125,000–$155,000 per year, plus annual incentive compensation.

What you will do
- Lead the commercial strategy and serve as the primary commercial contact for Amazon’s rail freight organization.
- Develop and execute account growth strategies, pricing approaches, sales collateral, and competitive analyses.
- Manage contract negotiations and long-term commercial commitments across Amazon’s evolving portfolio.
- Coordinate with operations and service design teams to improve network reliability, shipment visibility, and dwell times.
- Lead initiatives spanning security, forecasting, performance scorecards, technology integration, and emerging market development.
- Provide BNSF leadership with strategic updates and coordinate internal resources across multiple functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least five years of experience in transportation, marketing, or sales.
- In-depth knowledge of BNSF’s intermodal network, service offerings, operating capabilities, and interline processes.
- Strong analytical, communication, relationship-building, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify business opportunities, generate new revenue, and proactively address customer needs.
- Ability to work from Fort Worth, Texas, travel 30–50% for business, and remain available on call.

- Direct sales experience.
- Knowledge of customer niches and market factors affecting BNSF and its customers.
- Intermodal product knowledge gained through sales or operations.
