Collateral Product Owner & Project Manager (Derivatives)

What you will do

• Own and develop the end-to-end collateral operating model across cleared and bilateral derivatives.
• Define and deliver the strategic collateral roadmap in line with business priorities and regulatory requirements.
• Lead collateral-related regulatory and technology change initiatives, including EMIR, UK EMIR, UMR, clearing expansion, and transformation projects.
• Partner with Investments, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Technology, Operations, and external market participants.
• Improve collateral processes, controls, workflows, automation, and scalability.
• Oversee governance, risk management, performance metrics, and relationships with clearing brokers, CCPs, custodians, counterparties, and vendors.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in derivatives and collateral management within asset management, investment banking, or custody.
• Strong understanding of cleared and bilateral margining models and collateral management processes.
• Experience delivering large-scale operational, regulatory, or technology change programmes.
• Knowledge of EMIR, UK EMIR, UMR, and broader derivatives market regulation.
• Experience working with CCPs, clearing brokers, and collateral optimisation initiatives.
• Strong project management, product ownership, stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
