Senior Staff Systems Engineer, GTM (Salesforce)

Location: Hybrid in Oakland, California, or Denver, Colorado, or remote within the United States.

Salary: $202,787–$253,483.50 USD annually.

What you will do

• Define the technical strategy, architecture, and delivery of Salesforce CRM and related enterprise systems.
• Design and implement secure integrations, process automation, APIs, middleware, and event-driven data flows.
• Partner with Marketing, Finance, Sales, Analytics, Product, Customer Success, and Engineering stakeholders.
• Lead design reviews, code reviews, governance processes, and quality standards across the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Mentor engineers and drive technical excellence, reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Own high-impact Salesforce initiatives and act as the primary technical contact for critical projects and system issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Salesforce development and architecture experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
• Required Salesforce Developer I and Salesforce Developer II certifications.
• Experience with enterprise systems integration, APIs, middleware or iPaaS, event-driven architectures, and complex data flows.
• Strong understanding of billing, revenue recognition, order management, cloud cost management, and business processes.
• Experience leading and mentoring technical teams, including geographically dispersed teams across time zones.
• Proficiency in Agile and Salesforce DevOps practices, Git, CI/CD, automated testing, governance, and data privacy compliance.

Nice to have

• Salesforce System Architect or Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification.
• Salesforce Technical Architect or Application Architect certification.
• Second-generation managed package experience.
• Experience extending Salesforce Enterprise Territory Management programmatically.
