What you will do

• Design and maintain production-grade dbt models, specifically focusing on ARR and revenue recognition.
• Manage the end-to-end data pipeline, encompassing ingestion, transformation, and visualization.
• Transform manual, ad hoc workflows into scalable and reliable data pipelines.
• Collaborate with Finance, Engineering, and Sales teams to deliver practical data solutions for decision-making.
• Balance the need for quick tactical fixes with the design of thoughtful, long-term system architectures.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining production-grade data models and pipelines.
• Expert-level SQL skills and confidence working with complex datasets and schemas.
• Strong understanding of modern data modeling principles and best practices.
• High attention to detail and rigorous standards for data accuracy and validation.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience working at a high-growth PLG SaaS company.
• Familiarity with GAAP accounting, revenue recognition, or audit support.
• Hands-on experience with billing and finance tools like Stripe, Salesforce, or Orb.
• Experience managing data during tight financial cycles (month- and quarter-end).
