Salary: $146,200 – $233,700 USD per year

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable code and systems that touch 40% of the world population.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop best-in-class software solutions for various technical offerings.
• Contribute to product quality and new business flows within agile squads.
• Build next-generation payment services, including Real-Time Payments and Buy Now Pay Later technology.
• Mentor other engineers and drive internal standards for scalability, security, and reusability.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US (Foster City, CA).
• 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree (or 8+ years without).
• Expertise in at least one general development language such as Java, C#, or C++.
• Experience building and deploying modern web applications and services at scale.
• Experience in a leadership role, with or without direct reports.
• Proven ability in debugging, troubleshooting, and performing code reviews.

Nice to have

• Experience with container-based technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Knowledge of modern frontend frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Experience in product development or working on client-facing technical teams.
