What you will do

• Lead quality engineering strategy across hirify.global console, mobile, portal, hardware, and service ecosystems.
• Design and scale automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, telemetry, hardware, portal, and end-to-end testing.
• Define enterprise automation standards, CI/CD quality gates, release validation systems, and quality metrics.
• Lead initiatives for automation stability, flakiness reduction, infrastructure modernization, device lab orchestration, and observability.
• Drive AI-assisted testing research, including test generation, failure analysis, coverage improvement, and productivity gains.
• Mentor SDETs and QEs while partnering with Engineering, Product, Program Management, and QE leadership.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in SDET, automation engineering, or quality engineering roles.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading large-scale mobile quality engineering initiatives across multiple teams or product areas.
• Strong programming or scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages, with expertise in Playwright, Pytest, Appium, or Selenium.
• Experience architecting CI/CD pipelines, quality gates, and release validation systems using Jenkins or similar tools.
• Strong systems thinking, troubleshooting, communication, technical leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted testing tools, AI-based automation, and automated defect analysis.
• Experience with cloud and device labs, hardware validation, telemetry, observability, Docker, and portal testing.
