Salary: $140,000–$215,000 per year

What you will do

• Own end-to-end validation of Lightning services across cloud-side and Falcon Sensor interactions.
• Build and maintain Lightning-specific test tooling and frameworks while contributing to shared infrastructure.
• Define and drive testing strategies covering functional, performance, contract, and chaos engineering.
• Participate in technical design reviews to provide guidance on testability and code quality.
• Contribute to service operations, including observability, monitoring, and root cause analysis.
• Mentor engineers and drive a culture of quality across the organization.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as an SDET or Backend Developer.
• Expertise in at least one of: Golang, Python, Java, Kotlin, Rust, or C/C++.
• Experience with cloud distributed systems (e.g., Kubernetes, Cassandra, Redis, Kafka).
• Strong debugging skills for identifying design flaws, race conditions, and performance bottlenecks.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments.
• Must be able to pass government-required background and fingerprint checks.

• Experience with gRPC and event-driven messaging systems.
• Experience building cloud-connected endpoint software.
