What you will do

• Lead production planning process design and optimization in SAP S/4HANA, covering demand management, MRP, capacity planning, lot sizing, and production orders.
• Configure and optimize BOMs, routings, planning strategies, and production schedules in alignment with business demand.
• Analyze planning run results, resolve material shortages, and coordinate material availability with supply chain and procurement teams.
• Design and support bidirectional real-time interfaces between SAP PP and manufacturing execution systems.
• Manage production confirmations, backflushing, goods movements, and transaction orchestration between SAP and shop-floor systems.
• Troubleshoot interface failures, data inconsistencies, and production variances involving production orders, operations, material consumption, and quality data.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, equivalent experience, or a master's degree with 10+ years of experience.
• Typically 12+ years of related professional experience.
• Expertise in SAP S/4HANA production planning, software configuration, IT systems, upgrades, and business processes.
• Strong experience integrating SAP PP with MES and managing production execution data flows.
• Understanding of CI/CD, engineering processes, and enterprise software environments.
• Ability to work onsite in Louisville, Colorado, United States.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SAP PMMO.
• Advanced scripting with Python or PowerShell for automation and process improvement.
• Experience with cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, API management, and DevOps tools.
• Knowledge of machine learning, AI, cybersecurity, ITIL, or enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Experience leading complex technical initiatives and mentoring analysts.
