What you will do

• Lead production planning process design and optimization in SAP S/4HANA.
• Configure and optimize demand management, MRP, capacity planning, planning strategies, lot sizing, BOMs, routings, and production orders.
• Analyze planning run results, resolve material shortages, and align production schedules with business demand.
• Design and support SAP-to-MES interfaces for production orders, operations, material consumption, and quality data.
• Support production execution processes including confirmations, backflushing, goods movements, and transaction orchestration.
• Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams and troubleshoot interface failures, data inconsistencies, and production variances.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree, or a master's degree with 10+ years of experience.
• 12+ years of related experience.
• Expertise in SAP S/4HANA production planning, SAP PP, production execution, and MES integration.
• Strong understanding of IT systems, software configuration, CI/CD, engineering, business processes, software environments, and upgrades.
• Experience with production confirmations, backflushing, goods movements, and SAP-MES interface management.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SAP PMMO.
• Advanced scripting skills with Python or PowerShell.
• Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, DevOps, microservices, API management, and enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Experience using advanced data analysis, machine learning, and AI.
• Experience leading complex technical initiatives and mentoring analysts.
