What you will do

• Verify and correct patient insurance and policy information before payer submission.
• Investigate eligibility denials, verification failures, payer mapping issues, and system errors.
• Support accurate claims processing and reduce reimbursement delays.
• Analyze eligibility trends and communicate findings to leadership.
• Collaborate with offshore teams and internal partners to improve revenue cycle outcomes.
• Maintain productivity, quality, and accuracy standards in a fast-paced remote environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; an associate degree is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in medical billing, eligibility, or healthcare revenue cycle operations.
• Knowledge of payer requirements, coordination of benefits, claim processing, eligibility verification, clearinghouses, and 277/278 EDI files.
• Experience with insurance payer portals, eligibility tools, denials management, and reimbursement processes.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong written and verbal communication skills.
