Senior Software Engineer, Data Platform (AI)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain foundational data storage, streaming, caching, indexing, and warehousing platforms.
• Drive reliability improvements across core data platforms and underlying distributed systems.
• Work with stakeholders, internal customers, and cross-functional teams to refine requirements and deliver features.
• Improve programming practices through process enhancements and tooling upgrades.
• Present technical information and provide guidance on development processes and technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience after graduation, focused on backend systems and large-hirify.global data platforms.
• Experience with MongoDB, Postgres, Kinesis, Flink, Spark, Elasticsearch, Redis, Trino, Presto, Snowflake, or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud platforms, software development, and data systems.
• Fluency with Kubernetes, containerization, deployment technologies, and public cloud platforms.
• Track record of mentoring and leading teams, with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of software engineering best practices and CI/CD tooling such as CircleCI.
• Experience scaling products at hyper-growth startups.
• Interest in AI technologies.
