What you will do

• Design, implement, and improve foundational data platforms covering storage, streaming, caching, and indexing.
• Drive the reliability and scalability of distributed data systems.
• Work with stakeholders and internal customers to refine technical requirements and deliver platform features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system design and implementation.
• Improve engineering practices, development processes, and tooling.
• Present technical concepts and provide guidance on development technologies and processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience after graduation.
• Experience building large-hirify.global backend systems for data storage, streaming, and warehousing.
• Experience with MongoDB, Postgres, Kinesis, Flink, Spark, Elasticsearch, Redis, Trino, Presto, Snowflake, or similar technologies.
• Fluency with Kubernetes, containerization, deployment technologies, and public cloud platforms.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud platforms, and data systems.
• Experience mentoring and leading teams, with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of software engineering best practices and CI/CD tooling such as CircleCI.
• Experience scaling products at hyper-growth startups.
• Interest in AI technologies.
