Senior Technical Program Manager (Robotics): Lead the planning and delivery of a robot skills roadmap for commercially deployed humanoid robots with an accent on manipulation, perception, software execution, and customer deployment readiness. Location: Fully remote within the United States, with an optional hybrid arrangement for candidates within commuting distance of Salem, Oregon; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; or Fremont, California. Current authorization to work in the United States is required. Travel of up to two weeks per quarter to customer sites, offices, or offsites may be required.
Salary: $150,000–$235,000 USD base salary, with additional rewards and benefits for full-time employees.

What you will do
- Translate product and robot skills strategy into execution plans with milestones, scope, timelines, and delivery commitments.
- Prioritize long-term technical platform goals alongside urgent features and fixes for commercial customer deployments.
- Coordinate dependencies and alignment across Robot Software, AI Engineering, Solutions Engineering, and Fleet Orchestration teams.
- Establish operational rigor through Jira workflows, sprint metrics, Agile ceremonies, and roadblock resolution.
- Guide manipulation and perception capabilities from prototyping and feasibility assessment through pilot-ready production releases.
- Communicate program health, risks, timeline changes, and mitigation plans to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of experience in technical program management or project management focused on software engineering lifecycles in Agile environments.
- Experience driving complex software programs that interact directly with physical hardware, such as robotics, autonomous vehicles, embedded systems, or IoT.
- Advanced proficiency with Jira or a similar tool for workflows, dependencies, and program roadmaps.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional roadmaps without direct authority and align multidisciplinary stakeholders.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in a relevant technical field.
- Experience with robotic perception, manipulation and controls pipelines, or machine learning frameworks such as Learning from Demonstration.
- Experience using reliability data, simulation environments, and validation processes to improve production software.
- Experience scaling software from early prototypes to high-reliability commercial deployments.
