TL;DR

What you will do

  • Develop and refine structural dynamics and loads analysis methodologies for flight hardware.
  • Perform modal, random vibration, shock, transient, and frequency response analyses.
  • Generate simulation results and high-fidelity models to drive critical engineering and architectural decisions.
  • Define and execute dynamic test strategies across components, subsystems, and full vehicle qualification.
  • Correlate analytical models with physical test data to continuously improve model fidelity.
  • Collaborate with propulsion, avionics, manufacturing, and flight test teams to optimize hardware performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Structural Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in structural dynamics, loads, or vibration analysis.
  • Proficiency with finite element modeling using FEMAP, NASTRAN, or equivalent FEA tools.
  • Strong experience using MATLAB and/or Python for engineering analysis and data processing.
  • U.S. citizenship is required due to the necessity of obtaining and maintaining a government security clearance.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Experience with missile, launch vehicle, or spacecraft development.
  • Familiarity with MIL-STD and NASA dynamic testing requirements.
  • Experience developing custom engineering analysis tools or APIs.
  • Proven technical leadership in complete product development programs.
