TL;DR
Systems Analyst/Storage Engineer (Storage and Backup Infrastructure): Supporting, certifying, documenting, and troubleshooting enterprise storage and backup infrastructure with an accent on SAN, NAS, storage arrays, backup technologies, and disaster recovery. Focus on Level 2 escalation, end-to-end incident analysis, infrastructure monitoring, root cause analysis, and technical design documentation in complex datacenter environments.
Location: Singapore. Hybrid arrangement with at least 3 days per week in the office; exact office-day expectations are confirmed by the hiring manager.

What you will do
- Support, certify, and document storage and backup infrastructure within the Storage Operations Team.
- Provide Level 2 escalation support for existing infrastructure and maintain product uptime.
- Monitor, tune, troubleshoot, and perform root cause analysis across VMs, hosts, SAN switches, storage, and recovery services.
- Configure and support SAN, NAS, backup, storage monitoring, alerting, and remediation operations.
- Develop technical design and build documentation for storage and backup infrastructure.
- Collaborate with Systems, Database, Engineering, Asset Management, Product Development, Operations, Audit and Risk, and other technology groups.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in storage support or administration; basic qualifications include 2+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree or 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in large, complex enterprise datacenter environments.
- Hands-on experience with EMC, HDS, or IBM Midrange storage arrays; Brocade or Cisco SAN switches and routers; and Isilon or NetApp NAS arrays.
- Experience with backup technologies and VTL, including Symantec NetBackup or EMC Data Domain.
- Knowledge of UNIX/Linux, AIX, Solaris, VMware or other hypervisors, Windows, storage configuration, volume management, and path management tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, documentation, organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Automation experience with Ansible and/or Python.
- Storage and ITIL-related certifications.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an advanced degree.
