What you will do

• Manage and grow a team of junior and senior electrical engineers.
• Define spacecraft sensor and actuator requirements and architectures in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Oversee the design, build, and implementation of in-house component hardware and systems.
• Manage hardware development schedules to align with the overall program timeline.
• Drive the full hardware lifecycle: specification, circuit board design, verification, and debugging.
• Manage technical relationships with third-party component suppliers.

Requirements

• B.S. or higher in electrical or computer engineering.
• 5+ years of professional experience in fast-paced product design cycles.
• 5+ years of board-level electronics hardware design from concept to production.
• Proven ability to build and manage engineering teams.
• Strong analog/mixed-signal circuit design skills.
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.

Nice to have

• Experience with signal conditioning, sensors, actuators, or embedded computers.
• Knowledge of FPGAs, Microcontrollers, and communication protocols (RS-485, SPI, Ethernet, I2C).
• Proficiency in C, C++, or Python.
• Experience with radiation effects and environmental testing.
