What you will do

• Partner with public sector clients to understand operational challenges and define AI-driven solutions.
• Build and deploy end-to-end AI applications using leading AI lab technologies and open-source models.
• Develop custom datasets, evaluation frameworks, and model fine-tuning workflows.
• Collaborate with data annotation specialists and other cross-functional partners to produce high-quality training data.
• Participate in customer engagements, including occasional travel.
• Share hands-on knowledge and help hirify.global AI capabilities across the public sector.

Requirements

• Strong engineering background and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of post-graduation engineering experience with proficiency in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, or C++.
• At least 2 years of experience applying AI or machine learning in production environments.
• Experience deploying deep learning solutions, building generative or agentic AI applications, or creating evaluation pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud-based machine learning platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong problem-solving, data-driven iteration, and written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Startup experience, particularly as a founding engineer.
• Experience building and deploying large-hirify.global AI solutions.
• Proficiency in Arabic for language-model-focused work.
