What you will do

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for the reliability platform team, leading engineers through ambiguity to solve open-ended problems.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics to articulate technical constraints and partner on risk-based decisions.
• Proactively identify and resolve project, process, and technology issues.
• Manage operations and availability through metrics monitoring and on-call support.
• Foster a culture of quality by establishing and advocating for code review and design standards.
• Mentor and develop team talent by providing guidance and leading by example.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.
• Experience designing and launching backend systems at scale using Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in shipping web applications using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue.
• Practical experience applying LLMs or AI frameworks to enhance automation with guardrails.
• Ability to create elegant, simple, and extensible technical plans for significant system components.
• Must be based in the United States.
