Project Implementation Manager III (SaaS)

Location: Remote, with candidates required to be based on the East Coast of the United States; travel to client sites as needed is expected.

What you will do

• Lead client implementations from business development handoff through requirements confirmation, planning, configuration, validation, training, go-live, closeout, and transition to support.
• Act as the primary client contact, lead meetings, provide status updates, and maintain clear project documentation.
• Build and manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, budgets, and action items across concurrent projects.
• Coordinate implementation, configuration, validation, account management, business development, support, accounting, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Manage requirements, scope, change control, release readiness, implementation documentation, time records, invoices, and escalation of project risks.
• Deliver system administration training and product demonstrations, coordinate upgrades, and manage the transition to post-go-live support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, business, life sciences, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least five years of experience in SaaS implementation, client services, customer support, project management, or a related field.
• Experience leading multiple concurrent client projects with responsibility for scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and stakeholder communication.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client meetings, training, and presentations.
• Excellent organization, prioritization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams without direct supervisory authority and work across multiple time zones on the assigned schedule.

Nice to have

• PMP, CAPM, or comparable project management certification.
• Experience with enterprise SaaS, IaaS, or PaaS solutions in the life sciences sector.
• Experience with regulated GxP environments, software implementation, and validation deliverables.
• Knowledge of enterprise software configuration, requirements management, validation, change control, and release or upgrade processes.
• Experience with Wrike, JIRA, Freshdesk, or similar project management, ticketing, and collaboration platforms.
