What you will do

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot operating systems and software applications.
• Manage network configurations, protocols, routing, remote access services, and distributed computing environments.
• Implement virtualization technologies and administer local, networked, and shared resources.
• Develop automation scripts and streamline recurring system administration processes.
• Design and implement backup and recovery procedures to protect data integrity.
• Manage user accounts, authentication, authorization, Active Directory, group policies, monitoring, and resource allocation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of related experience.
• Experience with operating systems, networking, virtualization, scripting, and backup and recovery procedures.
• Knowledge of system administration tools, Windows administrative tools, Active Directory, authentication, authorization, and resource sharing.
• Ability to administer networked and distributed environments, including routing, remote access services, and group policies.

Nice to have

• Active U.S. TS/SCI clearance.
• CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft Azure Administrator certification.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
