Principal System Architect (SAP SuccessFactors)

Salary: $180,000–$230,000 per year, plus eligibility for bonus and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Define technical strategy, architectural standards, governance, and scalable integration across the SAP HCM ecosystem.
• Lead SAP technical teams through complex development, configuration, deployment, and HR transformation initiatives.
• Re-engineer custom SAP workloads onto SuccessFactors and SAP BTP while establishing clean core principles.
• Architect and oversee SAP BTP extensions, integrations, APIs, and cloud-based applications.
• Shape product roadmaps and strategies while coordinating solution compatibility across technical teams.
• Mentor engineers and consultants, provide technical training, and advise senior business and product stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on SAP SuccessFactors experience and experience as an architect or senior consultant on at least eight SAP SuccessFactors or HR implementations.
• Deep knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors modules, SAP technical and functional solutions, and large-scale HR transformations, including SAP HCM to Employee Central migrations.
• Strong experience with clean core principles, released APIs, custom API wrappers, and SAP application extensibility.
• Experience with RAP, CAP, SAP BTP services, Business Application Studio, SAP Build, Advanced Work Zone, and Integration Suite.
• Experience designing integrations using web services, Java connectors, REST APIs, and non-SAP applications.
• Degree or equivalent training in computer science, business administration, engineering, or a related information technology discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP BW, BW/4HANA, SAC, or Fieldglass.
• Business process re-engineering or process improvement experience.
• Experience working in a global environment at a leadership level.
