Salary: From $160,000, plus eligibility for an annual bonus program.

What you will do

• Lead technical deliverables for the design, construction, and commissioning of BESS projects with engineering and EPC partners.
• Coordinate supplier, contractor, and equipment vendor management across multiple projects.
• Partner with transmission, interconnection, and market analysis teams on interconnection agreements and grid integration.
• Prepare RFQ/RFP packages, scopes of work, schedules, budgets, cash flow projections, and technical contract requirements.
• Collaborate with developers, contractors, consultants, utilities, and other project stakeholders.
• Support permitting, regulatory applications, stakeholder inquiries, and project-site activities before, during, and after construction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a focus on Power Engineering.
• 5–7+ years of experience in project engineering, development, procurement or contracting, and construction management within power generation, utility, or transmission industries.
• Experience designing, constructing, commissioning, and operating high-voltage utility substations, switchyards, and transmission systems.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects from feasibility evaluation through development, design, engineering, and construction.
• Knowledge of permitting, regulatory approvals, environmental compliance, real property, interconnection, transmission, and BESS engineering fundamentals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft tools, MS Project, SharePoint, Excel, AutoCAD or equivalent, and Revu Bluebeam; ability to travel up to approximately 30% annually.
