Technical Consultant (Atlassian)

TL;DR

Technical Consultant (Atlassian): Assisting customers in making best use of the Atlassian product suite with an accent on system integration, process automation, and solution design. Focus on performing migrations, performance tuning, and developing custom scripting solutions.

Location: Remote, must be based in Germany (travel to client sites and on-site work required where necessary)

What you will do

• Gather and analyze client requirements to research and present optimized Atlassian-based solutions.
• Perform installations, upgrades, and complex migrations for Atlassian applications and associated technologies.
• Design and implement custom solutions using workflow configuration, plugins, and scripting in Groovy or Python.
• Handle system administration on Linux and Windows, including application server management and database querying.
• Integrate Atlassian and other third-party applications using REST APIs.
• Participate in pre-sales activities, defining project scope, providing estimates, and producing proposals.

Requirements

• German proficiency is mandatory.
• Must be located in Germany.
• Proven experience in technical consulting with a strong background in Atlassian toolsets.
• Hands-on experience with migrations and system administration (Linux, Bash).
• Proficiency in scripting with Groovy, Python, or ScriptRunner.
• Experience setting up cloud infrastructure on AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Strong written and spoken English language skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with web integration using REST APIs.
• Knowledge of AI or Atlassian Rovo.
• Experience with GitLab, Monday.com, or ServiceNow.
• Experience in developing Atlassian Apps.
