Senior Technical Consultant (AI)

Location: Mexico City, Mexico; hybrid work model. The role requires U.S. citizenship for public sector project clearance and up to 10% annual travel.

Base salary: MXN 750,000–1,350,000, plus a possible discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Lead the full software development lifecycle for custom automation solutions built on the hirify.global platform.
• Lead, coach, and mentor junior consultants through software implementation projects.
• Architect integrations and build data pipelines and APIs using REST, SOAP, and JDBC.
• Design and launch relational data models in production using advanced SQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams through sprints, stand-ups, and pair programming.
• Partner with technical teams and business users to drive platform adoption and self-sufficiency.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required for public sector project clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of software development or technical implementation consulting experience.
• Experience leading small teams and mentoring consultants during post-sale software implementations.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming, database design, and SQL queries, joins, and views.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% annually for customer engagements.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Elastic Containers.
• Knowledge of test-driven development, automated test suites, and AI or machine learning applications.
• Experience with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce or ServiceNow.
