Senior Solution Architect (Databricks)

What you will do

• Define and implement modern data warehouse architecture, including data models, ETL pipelines, orchestration, storage, and access patterns.
• Build scalable data solutions with Databricks, AWS, Spark, Delta Lake, and related technologies for high-volume workloads.
• Design APIs and data integration layers for interoperability and real-time data access.
• Optimize ETL processes, compute environments, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Partner with data engineering, platform engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise data solutions.
• Establish data quality, lineage, metadata, security, governance, documentation, and architecture standards.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or architecture, with strong expertise in data warehousing and distributed data systems.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, S3, ETL/ELT, data modeling, and batch and streaming integration patterns.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, plus experience with API development and orchestration tools.
• Experience with AWS and data platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, data governance, lineage, and security skills.

Nice to have

• AWS, Databricks, or related technology certifications.
