Salary: $177,600–$245,000 or $197,600–$272,000 USD base salary, depending on location

What you will do

• Own global policy strategy across AI governance, federal procurement, international AI safety, and related issue areas.
• Lead and grow a policy team while setting priorities and managing execution across a complex portfolio.
• Translate business objectives into policy outcomes and advise executive leadership on legislative and regulatory developments.
• Represent hirify.global with trade associations, standards bodies, industry coalitions, government agencies, and legislative stakeholders.
• Lead responses to rulemakings, requests for comments, and regulatory proceedings across jurisdictions.
• Build relationships with senior government officials, agency leaders, and legislative staff in the United States and internationally.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in policy or government.
• Experience securing consensus for priorities at trade associations or standards bodies.
• Experience leading responses to rulemakings, requests for comments, and similar regulatory processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Technical experience through technology policy, a technical government agency, peer-reviewed research, or work in the technology sector.
• Experience managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a startup or technology company.
• Active U.S. Top Secret or Secret clearance.
