What you will do

• Develop and execute proactive communications plans for federal, state, and local stakeholders to highlight Nscale's economic impact.
• Create and disseminate fact-based messaging regarding environmental footprint and community contribution of AI data centers.
• Collaborate with Government Affairs and Legal teams to translate high-level policy positions into local messaging playbooks.
• Cultivate relationships with policy reporters, think tanks, trade groups, and coalition partners.
• Lead crisis communications and manage sensitive regulatory, siting, and community issues.
• Analyze the policy landscape to identify media risks and emerging narratives around AI infrastructure and energy.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in policy communications, public affairs, or PR within tech, infrastructure, or energy sectors.
• Proven track record of translating complex regulatory topics into clear, locally relevant narratives.
• Experience advising senior executives for high-stakes public and media engagements.
• Ability to operate with sound judgment in fast-moving, high-scrutiny environments.
• Strong ability to partner cross-functionally with Policy, Corporate Affairs, and Legal teams.
• Must be based in the US

• Direct experience supporting communications for infrastructure development projects (e.g., data centers, utilities).
