TL;DR

Senior Wildfire Community Engagement Leader (AI): Serving as a senior ambassador and strategic advisor to the wildfire and emergency management community with an accent on building coalitions, influencing policy, and accelerating technology adoption. Focus on championing the perspectives of frontline fire personnel to inform product strategy and driving high-level advocacy across the U.S. wildfire ecosystem.

Location: Must be based in the U.S. (Remote or San Francisco, CA). Frequent travel across the U.S. is required.

Compensation: $175,054 – $210,068 + Equity + Bonus

What you will do

  • Represent hirify.global as a senior voice and trusted thought leader within the wildfire and emergency management community.
  • Build and deepen strategic relationships with fire agency leaders, chiefs, and decision-makers across the U.S.
  • Lead public engagement programs and coalitions to accelerate the adoption of wildfire detection technology.
  • Support government affairs, lobbying efforts, and legislative testimony to shape policy and funding.
  • Provide internal advisory on fire agency operations and culture to guide product development and strategy.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to support sales and business development initiatives.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of senior experience in fire service, wildfire response, or emergency management.
  • Leadership background as a fire chief, battalion chief, deputy chief, or equivalent.
  • Strong national or regional reputation with an active network in the fire and emergency management community.
  • Demonstrated ability to build partnerships, coalitions, and advocacy initiatives.
  • Excellent public speaking and communication skills for high-level representation.
  • Ability to travel frequently across the U.S.
