Senior Electrical Engineer (Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead the design, integration, operation, and continuous improvement of campus electrical systems.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for electrical infrastructure, power distribution, and building automation systems.
• Develop strategies for electrical capacity, reliability, resiliency, safety, regulatory compliance, energy efficiency, sustainability, and lifecycle management.
• Partner with Utilities, HVAC, Maintenance, Automation, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to maintain operational continuity.
• Support capital projects through planning, design review, commissioning, execution, and startup.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and provide technical leadership during critical operational events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 7–12 years of electrical engineering experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated manufacturing environments is required.
• Experience designing, commissioning, operating, and maintaining complex electrical systems throughout their lifecycle.
• Knowledge of electrical infrastructure, utilities, HVAC/R systems, building automation systems, and power distribution.
• Strong understanding of cGMP requirements and electrical safety standards, including NEC, NFPA, and IEC codes.
• Excellent communication, project management, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Nice to have
