What you will do

• Apply advanced electric power systems and related technology knowledge to complete complex engineering assignments.
• Lead the design, configuration, validation, installation, commissioning, and operation of protection and automation systems.
• Serve as a technical leader for projects, ensuring safe, timely, budget-compliant, and high-quality delivery.
• Provide technical training and customer support during project implementation and operation.
• Develop technical proposals, project estimates, and customer solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Mentor engineers and technical professionals and provide leadership and supervision when needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in electric power systems engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of power system protection, control, automation, communications, and integration technologies.
• Experience with power system design, studies, protective relay applications, and communication systems.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing business needs.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for at least 25%, depending on area of specialization.
• Successful completion of required background screening and drug testing.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent industry certification.
• Experience supporting electric utilities, industrial facilities, consulting engineering firms, or system integrators.
• Project management experience leading multidisciplinary engineering projects.
• Experience with project tracking and management software such as Vision or similar platforms.
