Salary: $160,000 - $180,000 USD

What you will do

• Design and productionize foundations for Applied AI, including AI-assisted sales follow-up, operational defect analysis, and reusable retrieval patterns.
• Build production-grade systems connecting user-facing workflows, backend services, data pipelines, and LLM capabilities.
• Develop "paved roads" for AI adoption, including secure model access, observability, cost controls, and evaluation patterns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Data, Security) to move from ambiguous AI opportunities to reliable product capabilities.
• Create closed-loop feedback systems that connect audits, product changes, and measurable business outcomes.

Requirements

• Experience building production-grade features in Python (or transferable experience in Node.js).
• Proficiency in designing reliable data models and using relational databases at scale.
• Track record as a key contributor to the design and implementation of large, complex projects.
• Comfortable refactoring legacy monolithic systems while designing new services and integration patterns.
• Must be eligible for US-based employment (benefits include 401K and US health insurance).

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM-powered products, AI agents, retrieval systems, or evaluation frameworks.
• Familiarity with AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, Gemini, or Anthropic.
• Experience with RBAC, auditability, and compliant data workflows.
• Knowledge of microservice architecture and RPC.
• Frontend experience with JavaScript frameworks like React.
