What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions and new product features using Python, SQL, JavaScript, and other technologies.
• Build and support scalable, high-performance, thread-safe distributed services.
• Investigate complex technical issues, debug live-site problems, and develop automation for high-scale systems.
• Support CI/CD, runtime platform maintenance, integrations, release fixes, and code security.
• Maintain code quality through reviews, automated testing, debugging, and Test-Driven Development.
• Create technical documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams on requirements and delivery.

Requirements

• Hybrid presence in Somerset, New Jersey or Austin, Texas is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 7 years of professional software engineering experience.
• At least 5 years of experience with Python, SQL, JavaScript, cloud application development, and high-performance distributed systems.
• Intermediate proficiency in cloud computing, DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, monitoring, SQL, ORM frameworks, PaaS, and TDD.
• Experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure; advanced AWS or Azure certification is preferred.
