Software Engineer (AI/ML)

Location: Hybrid work required in Somerset, NJ or Austin, TX, USA; ability to travel 10% required.

Salary: $125,000–$150,000 annual base salary, depending on knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions, new features, and application integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the software development lifecycle.
• Resolve complex technical issues, debug live-site problems, and support runtime platform maintenance.
• Maintain code quality through code reviews, testing, debugging, and test-driven development.
• Support CI/CD processes, release fixes, system stability, security, and performance.
• Create technical documentation and contribute independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or relevant work experience.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of experience with Python, SQL, and JavaScript.
• 5+ years of experience writing high-performance, thread-safe code for sub-millisecond request serving.
• 5+ years of experience debugging difficult live-site problems and building automation for high-scale distributed systems.
• 5+ years of experience developing applications in Azure or AWS; intermediate skills in cloud computing, DevOps, SQL, ORM frameworks, and TDD are required.
