What you will do

• Analyze electrical drawings, specifications, and instructions to troubleshoot, repair, replace, and install electrical components and systems up to 600V.
• Install circuits, conduits, wiring, grounding leads, lighting fixtures, life safety systems, appliances, motors, and transformers.
• Test emergency diesel generators weekly in coordination with building operators.
• Inspect and test lighting, emergency power, alarm, HVAC, medical equipment, and patient electrical systems.
• Diagnose faults and repair electrical equipment, control devices, switches, sockets, ballasts, fixtures, and other components.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on power equipment, HVAC systems, medical gas systems, alarm systems, communications systems, and medical equipment.

Requirements

• Electrician certification.
• Facility Electrician Certificate.
• Ability to work onsite and maintain an orderly, clean, and safe work area.
• Careful and safe use of tools, equipment, and supplies.
